Renegade Game Studios renews Hasbro license and ends White Wolf partnership

Renegade Game Studios has renewed its long-standing licensing agreement with Hasbro to produce tabletop games for several major properties. The renewed deal includes brands such as Transformers, G.I. Joe, Power Rangers, M.A.S.K., My Little Pony, and JEM and the Holograms, as well as board games like Axis & Allies and Diplomacy. Future releases are being planned for 2027 and beyond, with new editions of the Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Power Rangers roleplaying games expected to utilize 5E-compatible rules.

Simultaneously, Renegade will conclude its publishing partnership with White Wolf at the end of 2026. Following the revival of the White Wolf studio by Paradox Interactive, the company is moving its RPG development and publishing back in-house. Renegade will continue to support the World of Darkness intellectual property through 2026, with scheduled releases including 'Courts of the Damned' for Vampire: The Masquerade and 'Tribes of Gaia' for Werewolf: The Apocalypse.
