Renfe Avlo train skips A Gudiña stop due to operational incident

An Avlo high-speed train traveling from Vigo to Madrid skipped its scheduled stop at the A Gudiña-Porta de Galicia station on Sunday due to what Renfe described as an ‘operational incident’ involving personnel. The incident affected 13 passengers in total.

Eight passengers who intended to disembark at A Gudiña were instead taken to the Sanabria station. While Renfe staff initially informed these travelers that taxis would be provided to complete their journey to A Gudiña, passengers reported that the vehicles did not arrive as promised. Another five passengers waiting at the A Gudiña station were subsequently relocated to an Ave service to reach Madrid.

Renfe clarified that the disruption was not caused by issues with the tracks or the train itself, but rather by a personnel-related operational issue. The train eventually arrived in Madrid with a delay of approximately eleven minutes.
