Renfe suspends Catalonia train services due to severe weather

Renfe has suspended several train services in Catalonia due to severe weather conditions. Following a red alert issued by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the Generalitat decreed the suspension of Rodalies commuter services starting at 20:00 on Saturday, October 3.

The suspension will remain in effect until weather conditions allow for the safe resumption of services for both passengers and railway professionals. While many services are halted, certain exceptions remain operational, such as the RL3 and RL4 lines in Lleida and the R16 section between Tortosa and Hospitalet de l'Infant, provided safety conditions permit.
