Reni Amaral begins recovery after emergency surgery

Reni Amaral, mother of Brazilian Federal Deputy Tabata Amaral, has begun showing signs of recovery after undergoing emergency surgery. She is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Hospital São Camilo in São Paulo.

The accident occurred on Saturday, the 3rd, when Reni Amaral fell and hit her head while accompanying the deputy during a campaign event at Parque da Independência in the southern zone of the capital. Following the incident, the deputy had previously reported her mother's condition as stable but serious.

Tabata Amaral shared that her mother is starting to respond to interactions, describing her survival as a “miracle.” While expressing relief that Reni is waking up, the deputy noted that the recovery process will be long and will require patience and faith.
