Reniyanti Hoegeng, daughter of General Hoegeng, passes away

Reniyanti Hoegeng, the eldest daughter of former Indonesian National Police Chief General Hoegeng Iman Santoso, has passed away at the age of 78.

She died at Eka Hospital Depok on Tuesday at 00:44 WIB. While the family has not disclosed the specific cause of death, it was noted that her health had been declining recently, including heart treatment two weeks prior.

Reniyanti was married to senior actor Rudy Wowor from 1975 to 2003, and they had two children, Siti Madinah and Michael Ben Syura Sondia Wowor. She was also known to be a friend of former President Megawati Soekarnoputri.

The deceased will be laid to rest at the Giri Tama Tonjong cemetery following a wake at her residence in Pesona Khayangan, Depok.
