RENK shares climb above €46 on strong earnings and defense‑sector momentum

On 27 July 2026 the German defence specialist RENK AG saw its share price rise to about €45.96, reaching a intra‑day high of €46.41, roughly a 1.5 % gain. The stock’s market capitalisation is now around €4.5 billion. RENK reported first‑quarter 2026 revenue of €283.6 million, adjusted EBIT of €42.4 million and a robust order intake of €582.3 million, bringing the order backlog to a record above €6.6 billion, signalling strong demand for its gear and drive systems in tanks, naval vessels and industrial applications.

Earlier in the week, a strong half‑year report from French defence group Thales briefly lifted the broader German defence sector, pushing RENK’s price to €45.16 euro before the uplift faded. Analysts note that without fresh sector catalysts the momentum may not sustain, with upcoming earnings from peers such as Rheinmetall, HENSOLDT and TKMS expected to shape the next move.
