Renner announces solo career project following death of partner Rick

Singer Renner has announced he will continue his musical career through a new project titled ‘Rick & Renner pra Sempre: O Legado’ (Rick & Renner Forever: The Legacy). This decision follows the death of his longtime musical partner, Rick Sollo, who died at age 59 in a helicopter accident in the Santa Catarina mountains on September 21.

The project aims to honor the four-decade partnership of the duo by performing their classic repertoire. The announcement was supported by Rick’s widow, Geralda Helena, and confirmed that business management will remain under Marcos Nascimento, who has been involved with the duo for 36 years.

The helicopter crash also claimed the lives of a businessman, a videomaker, and the flight crew. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.
