Renner announces solo tribute project following death of partner Rick

Singer Renner has announced the launch of a new project, ‘Rick & Renner Para Sempre — O Legado’, to continue the musical journey of the duo following the death of his partner, Rick. Rick passed away at age 59 in September after a helicopter accident in Santa Catarina that also claimed the lives of a manager, a videomaker, a pilot, and a co-pilot.

Renner’s first solo performance is scheduled for December 5 in Araçatuba, São Paulo, at Vivere Eventi. The date coincides with what would have been Rick’s 60th birthday. The event, originally intended to be part of the duo’s 40th-anniversary tour, will serve as a tribute to their shared history. Organizers have confirmed that tickets previously purchased for the duo’s tour will remain valid for this solo presentation.
