Rennes vs Auxerre: Ligue 1 preview as Auxerre faces squad shortages

Rennes and Auxerre are set to face each other in a Ligue 1 match on Sunday, October 11. Rennes currently holds 5th place in the league with 10 points, while Auxerre sits in 10th place with 6 points.

Auxerre enters the match facing significant squad challenges. The team will be without several players due to injuries and suspensions, including Marvin Senaya, Assane Diousse, Bryan Okoh, and Christ Makosso. Despite these absences, Auxerre has recently found momentum with consecutive home victories against Nice and Brest.

In contrast, Rennes is expected to have a full squad available for the fixture. While Rennes recently suffered a loss to Lyon, they have maintained a strong home presence and are looking to build on their current league standing.
