Renwu District opens three new community parks in Kaohsiung

The Kaohsiung City Government has officially opened three new parks—Gong Wu, Gong Liu, and Gong Qi—within the Renwu 92nd Resettlement Area. These parks are part of the ‘Renwu Green Corridor’ project, which aims to connect living areas on both sides of the high-speed rail line.

Gong Liu Park features a high-speed rail-themed playground with designs inspired by trains, tracks, and tunnels, including specialized slides and climbing structures. Gong Wu Park is designed as a pet-friendly space with large lawns, while Gong Qi Park focuses on community use with walking paths and fitness facilities. The project serves local residents as well as employees from the nearby TSMC Nanzi plant and Renwu Industrial Park. The second phase of the green corridor construction is scheduled to begin in early October, with completion expected by the end of next year.
