Renzo Filippi, prominent Pisa construction entrepreneur, dies

Renzo Filippi, a prominent figure in the local construction industry of Pisa, has passed away. He was the founder of Impresa Costruzioni Filippi Renzo e Figli S. r. l., based in San Giuliano Terme.

Filippi began his professional journey in 1957 in Asciano and eventually established a solid corporate presence in Ghezzano starting in 1986. Under his leadership, his company became a key contractor for significant public and private entities, including the U.S. military base Camp Darby, Continental Automotive Italy, the Archdiocese of Pisa, and the Pisa Chamber of Commerce.

CNA Pisa expressed deep condolences, describing Filippi as a historical pillar of local entrepreneurship and a mentor who provided guidance and values to the economic fabric of the region.
