Reolink launches heat-resistant 4K security cameras for the Gulf region

Reolink has introduced new 4K AI-powered security cameras, specifically the RP-PCB8M and RP-PN16, designed to withstand the extreme temperatures of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

Standard consumer security cameras often fail in environments like the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where ambient temperatures frequently exceed the typical 45°C to 50°C operating limit. Such heat can lead to degraded image quality, connectivity issues, or total hardware failure. The new hardware is engineered to remain reliable during intense summer heat and dust storms.

As the GCC smart home market is projected to reach a valuation of USD 5.2 billion by 2026, Reolink aims to address the gap between standard hardware and the specific environmental demands of the Middle East.
