Rep. Max Miller subpoenas Sen. Bernie Moreno in custody battle

Lawyers for Republican Representative Max Miller have issued a second subpoena to Senator Bernie Moreno and his wife. The legal action is part of an ongoing custody battle between Miller and his ex-wife, Emily Moreno.

The dispute occurs as Miller campaigns for re-election in Ohio’s 7th congressional district. During previous custody proceedings, Emily Moreno made allegations of abuse against Miller, which he has denied.

Separately, Miller is under investigation by the House Ethics Committee following a request he made himself in August. No findings are expected to be released before the upcoming midterm elections.
