Max Miller sued by ex-wife over release of child's nude photo
Emily Moreno has filed a civil rights lawsuit against her ex-husband, Ohio Republican Representative Max Miller, and his attorney, Aaron Minc. The suit alleges they recklessly published a nude photograph of their two-year-old daughter online. The image was included in a Dropbox folder that Miller shared on X to defend himself against domestic abuse allegations made by Moreno.
Moreno is seeking $150,000 in damages for each instance the photograph was downloaded or disclosed. The lawsuit claims the image was accessible to hundreds of thousands of users for approximately 23 hours. Attorney Aaron Minc has accepted sole responsibility for the incident, describing it as an unintentional mistake caused by missing pages during the redaction process.
The legal action occurs amidst an ongoing and contentious custody battle and follows previous allegations of domestic violence and physical abuse against Miller, which he has denied. In response to Miller’s decision to continue his reelection campaign despite the controversy, the House Majority PAC announced it would increase campaign advertising in the Cleveland area by approximately $6 million.
