Florida Rep. Randy Fine wins primary amid mailbox footage and antisemitism controversy

Florida Republican Representative Randy Fine won his reelection primary for the 6th Congressional District, defeating challenger Dan Bilzerian with approximately 56 percent of the vote. The campaign was marked by intense controversy. Bilzerian, an influencer, released an AI-generated attack ad containing antisemitic rhetoric and references to Adolf Hitler, prompting rare bipartisan condemnation from House Speaker Mike Johnson and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

Separately, Ring camera footage surfaced showing Fine appearing to open and sift through a resident's mailbox while canvassing in Ormond Beach. While the act raised questions regarding federal mail tampering laws, Fine’s office confirmed his identity in the video, and the homeowner involved chose not to press charges. Fine, a staunch supporter of Israel, has previously faced criticism for inflammatory remarks regarding Muslims.
