REPAM promotes Amazon preservation awareness in Marabá

The REPAM Committee of the Diocese of Marabá organized a discussion group for adult education students at Colégio Martinho Mota to address Amazon preservation. The activity focused on the ‘Amazoniza-te’ and ‘Eu Voto pela Amazônia’ campaigns, which encourage socio-environmental awareness and the protection of regional territories.

During the event, students analyzed campaign materials and discussed the importance of collective responsibility in facing environmental challenges. Representatives from MOZAECO also presented local initiatives regarding tree planting and vegetation preservation as tools to combat the climate crisis.
