Repentance releases tribute video for late guitarist Shaun Glass

The metal band Repentance has released a music video for the single ‘Fade Into Silence’ as a tribute to their late founder and guitarist, Shaun Glass. Glass, a veteran of the Chicago metal scene who had previously performed with bands such as Broken Hope and SOiL, passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2026.

The band chose the track for the release because it was written by Glass himself. Vocalist Adam Gilley stated that the song serves as a way to honor Glass’s creativity and passion, noting that his death has left a significant void in the group.

Following Glass’s passing, the band postponed the release of their third studio album, ‘Retaliate’. The album is now scheduled to be released on November 27 via Noble Demon.
