Reply AI Film Festival announces ten finalists for 2026 competition

The third edition of the Reply AI Film Festival, held alongside the 83rd International Film Festival of the Venice Biennale, has named its ten finalists. The short films were selected from more than 3,000 entries submitted by creators from 76 countries.

The award ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, 6 September, at the Match Point Arena of the Tennis Club Venezia on the Lido. An international jury chaired by Oscar‑winning director Gabriele Salvatores will choose the winner, with jurors including Rob Minkoff, Catherine Hardwicke, Jed Weintrob, Giacomo Mineo, Jacopo Reale, Christina Lee Storm, Nils Hartmann, Brian Welk, Denise Negri, Filippo Rizzante and Guillem Martinez Roura. In addition to the prize for best short film, the jury will award an AI for Good Award and the Reply AI Studios Grand Prix for outstanding creative use of artificial intelligence.
