Reporters Association of Liberia releases progress report and names committees

The leadership of the Reporters Association of Liberia (RAL) has released its Consolidated Transition, Status and Early Progress Report. The report outlines early institutional reforms and the establishment of five permanent committees designed to decentralize the association and increase member participation throughout Liberia.

RAL President J. H. Webster Clayeh stated that the report is part of a commitment to open leadership and accountability to both members and the public. Since assuming office on July 10, the administration has focused on rebuilding the association’s institutional, administrative, and financial systems.

The leadership aims to improve communication channels to ensure that members nationwide, particularly those outside of Monrovia, have consistent access to institutional information and leadership.
