Representative Jason Crow warns of potential election interference

Representative Jason Crow (D-CO), serving as the battleground chair for House Democrats, expressed concerns regarding the potential for the Trump administration to attempt to overturn election results. During an appearance on CNN’s ‘The Arena,’ Crow stated he has ‘no doubt’ that individuals within the administration and close to the president would be willing to attempt to ‘steal this election’ to maintain power.

Crow argued that such actions would be indicative of an autocracy and noted that efforts to suppress votes are already underway. He emphasized that the Democratic Party’s primary defense against such scenarios is achieving a large margin of victory, or a ‘blue wave.’

To prepare for various contingencies, Crow noted that Democrats are developing litigation and communication plans. He has spent the last 18 months recruiting and mentoring candidates across 11 different states to build a strategic battlefield for the upcoming elections.
