Reproductive health workshops and labor techniques discussed in Serbia

In Niš, Serbia, the association ‘Šansa za roditeljstvo’ is organizing a workshop titled ‘VTO bez filtera’ on September 26. The event aims to provide expert information on in vitro fertilization (IVF), pregnancy preparation, male infertility, nutrition, and supplementation. Experts including reproductive specialist Dr. Aleksandra Dimitrijević, gynecologist Dr. Ljubiša Marjanović, and nutrition expert Ana Mitić will address medical facts versus common myths.

Separately, obstetric nurse Georgina has shared a technique involving the use of a comb during labor. The method suggests that holding a comb firmly in the hand so that the teeth press into the palm can provide sensory stimulation. According to Georgina, this is not intended to eliminate pain, but rather to serve as a tactic for redirecting attention and managing the sensation of contractions.
