Repsol completes first bunker fuel delivery at Port of Chancay

Repsol has successfully completed its first bunker fuel delivery at the Port of Chancay in Peru. The operation involved supplying 740 metric tons of very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO) to a container ship using the company’s tanker, Thomas B.

The Thomas B has a storage capacity of 20,000 metric tons. This milestone is part of Repsol’s efforts to expand its bunker market presence in Peru and support the Port of Chancay as it develops into a major maritime hub on the Pacific coast.

In addition to the Thomas B, Repsol operates the Adrian (16,000 DWT) at the Port of Callao. The company provides 24/7 fuel delivery services, offering a range of products including high sulfur fuel oil (HSFO 3.5%), very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO 0.5%), and low sulfur marine gas oil (LSMGO 0.1%).
