Repsol hosts first academic orientation fair in Puertollano

Repsol has organized its first Academic Orientation Fair at the La Central fair pavilion in Puertollano, Spain. The event brought together approximately 800 students from Puertollano, Argamasilla de Calatrava, and Almodóvar del Campo to explore vocational training and university options.

Antonio Lorenzo, director of the Repsol Industrial Complex in Puertollano, encouraged students to compare alternatives and seek information to improve their future employability. He noted that the company's ongoing industrial, energetic, and technological transformation is creating new professional profiles centered on innovation and digitalization.

The company maintains long-standing collaborations with vocational training centers and the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) through the Repsol Foundation. These partnerships include academic projects, dual master's degrees, and internships, which have helped approximately 57 students begin working at the complex since 2022, primarily as chemical and industrial engineers.
