Republic Electoral Commission approves Hungarian minority list and ballot colors
The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) has officially declared the “Movement for a New Beginning of Vojvodina Hungarians” as an electoral list for the elections of members to the National Council of the Hungarian National Minority. The commission confirmed that the list meets all legal requirements, including candidate numbers, gender representation, and valid documentation, supported by 1,319 verified signatures.
Additionally, the RIK has determined the specific colors for the ballot papers and control slips used in the elections for various national minority councils. For the Bosniak and Hungarian national minorities, ballots will be printed on apricot-colored paper, with the Bosniak ballots featuring a brown border and the Hungarian ballots featuring a light gray border.
Ballots for other minorities, including Albanian, Bulgarian, Greek, German, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Croatian, and others, will be printed on white paper with specific colored borders to distinguish each group.
