Republic Geodetic Authority implements new IT system in Serbia

The Republic Geodetic Authority of Serbia is implementing a new information system as part of the ‘Improvement of Land Administration in Serbia’ project, supported by the World Bank. This third roll-out phase involves the cadastral offices in Bor, Majdanpek, Boljevac, and Donji Milanovac.

The new IT system is designed to increase reliability and speed up the processing of citizen requests. It enables remote work, allowing officials to consult with experienced colleagues in different cities, which is particularly beneficial for complex legal or geodetic matters related to large infrastructure or investment projects. The system also allows for a more even distribution of tasks across the country.

Due to the implementation of this third phase, the cadastral offices in Bor, Majdanpek, Boljevac, and Donji Milanovac will be unavailable to the public from September 25 to October 7, 2026. This process follows the successful implementation of two previous phases in over 90 cadastral offices across Serbia.
