Sireti hunters mark start of pigeon and pheasant season

Hunters in the village of Sireti, located in the Străşeni district, have marked the opening of the new hunting season for pigeons and pheasants. The event included a traditional gathering where participants prepared pigeon soup and roasted meat.

The local Sireti Hunters Association consists of 22 practitioners. Participants noted the importance of following strict hunting regulations, which include obtaining collection sheets from hunting fund managers and permits from the Border Police. Hunters emphasized the need for precision and adherence to safety rules, such as only shooting upwards when hunting pigeons.
