Republic of Moldova hosts International Francophone Camp
The Republic of Moldova is hosting the International Francophone Camp from August 9 to 16, 2026. The event brings together students passionate about the French language and teaching staff from nine countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
Participants are drawn from the nine beneficiary countries of the Regional Francophone Center for Central and Eastern Europe (CREFECO): Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Romania, and Serbia. The program includes educational, cultural, and interactive activities designed to develop French communication skills, creativity, collaboration, and intercultural dialogue.
Organized by the Ministry of Education and Research alongside the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation, the camp aims to provide students with real-world contexts for their language studies and to strengthen the links between the Moldovan educational system and the international Francophone community. The program also includes dedicated activities for teachers to exchange experiences and discover new methods for teaching French.
