Republican super PAC spends $1.5M on Colorado congressional races
National Republican funding is increasing in Colorado as outside groups spend over $3.3 million this month on two contentious congressional races. A significant portion of this spending is directed toward Republican incumbents Gabe Evans and Jeff Crank.
No Going Back PAC, which is financially backed by the Trump-aligned MAGA Inc. super PAC, has spent approximately $1.5 million to support these candidates. The group has allocated $1 million to assist Rep. Gabe Evans in the 8th Congressional District and roughly $450,000 to benefit Rep. Jeff Crank in the 5th Congressional District.
The focus on the 5th District is notable because the GOP has held the seat since its creation following the 1970 census. Crank faces Democratic challenger Jessica Killin, a former U.S. Army captain and former chief of staff to Doug Emhoff. Republican advertisements have targeted Killin, labeling her a “wealthy liberal lobbyist” and criticizing her past professional ties.
