Republican Turkish Party outlines election strategy and anti-corruption plans
The Republican Turkish Party (CTP) has announced its preparations for upcoming general and local elections. Party leadership emphasized a commitment to transparency, meritocracy, and public participation in governance.
CTP General Secretary Mehmet Kale Kişi stated that the party is finalizing parliamentary candidate applications, which will be evaluated in an upcoming Party Assembly meeting. Kişi highlighted the party's intention to establish an Anti-Corruption Authority to address public concerns regarding governance and accountability. He also noted that the party maintains a policy of a solution based on a federation regarding the Cyprus issue.
CTP Chairperson Sıla Usar İncirli visited Kurudere to engage with local residents, asserting that the party will not make decisions “behind closed doors.” İncirli pledged to implement a management style based on data, planning, and equality, aiming to simplify public services and ensure that investments are directed toward actual needs identified through census data. The party also expressed a focus on combating corruption and improving infrastructure and public sector employment through merit-based practices.
