Republican Turkish Party unveils anti-corruption strategy

The Republican Turkish Party (CTP) has unveiled a new anti-corruption strategy aimed at establishing a task force within 100 days and an independent authority within one year. CTP leader Sıla Usar İncirli stated the plan focuses on investigating past allegations and creating systemic safeguards to prevent future corruption and restore public trust.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel of the National Unity Party (UBP) criticized the move, labeling it ‘mud politics.’ Üstel argued that the CTP is using perception-based polls to cast suspicion on the general public and accused the party of recycling unfulfilled promises from 2018.

In response to recent polling data showing the CTP at 47 percent, analyst Denizkan questioned the validity of the research. Denizkan criticized the methodology of polls using small sample sizes of only 500 people, calling for greater transparency regarding how such results are obtained.
