Republika Srpska approves construction of local helidromes

The Government of Republika Srpska has approved an initiative by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to construct a network of local helidromes. The project aims to improve civil protection and emergency medical transport, addressing the need for modernized landing and takeoff facilities near health institutions and police facilities. The proposed locations for these helidromes include Doboj, Trebinje, Višegrad, Lukavica, Pale, and Karakaj.

Additionally, the government approved a request from the Road Safety Agency for 2,000,000 KM to fund prevention and safety improvement projects. These funds will support the Road Safety Strategy for the period 2026–2035.

The government also reviewed a request regarding the urgent need to repair the local water supply system in Prnjavor, tasking the Ministries of Finance and Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management to consider financial assistance for the project.
