Republika Srpska election results shift as mail-in votes are counted

The counting of mail-in, absentee, and diplomatic votes is causing significant shifts in the distribution of parliamentary mandates for the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NSRS).

In Electoral Unit 7, the Koalicija za državu (Coalition for the State) successfully crossed the electoral threshold, increasing its mandate count from two to three. This shift secures a seat for Edin Ramić and potentially brings Mirsad Duratović and Sevlid Hurtić into the assembly, while preventing Miladin Radović of Ujedinjena Srpska from obtaining a mandate.

Other close contests remain unresolved. In Electoral Unit 5, Slađan Jović leads Boris Šljivić by a single vote, with 1,714 votes to 1,713 respectively. The final outcome for party leaders Nedeljko Čubrilović and Petar Đokić also remains uncertain, as the final allocation of compensatory mandates depends on the completed processing of all remaining ballots.
