Republika Srpska honors Israeli officials and opens Israel Chamber of Commerce

Republika Srpska officials have honored Israeli representatives to mark strengthening diplomatic and economic ties. Siniša Karan, President of Republika Srpska, awarded the Order of the Flag of Republika Srpska with a golden wreath to Israeli Minister for Diaspora and Combating Antisemitism Amichai Chikli. Galit Peleg, Israel's non-resident Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, received the Order of the Flag of Republika Srpska with a silver wreath.

In conjunction with these honors, the Israel Chamber of Commerce was established in Banja Luka. The new chamber is set to be led by Amir Gross Kabiri. Prime Minister Savo Minić described the opening of the chamber as a “new chapter in our relations,” aimed at stimulating more intensive economic cooperation and encouraging Israeli investment in the region. Peleg noted that the establishment of the economic representation serves as an expression of confidence in the business climate of Republika Srpska.
