Republika Srpska institutions launch major tenders ahead of elections

In the week leading up to the official election campaign in Republika Srpska, several public institutions have engaged in significant spending, large-scale tenders, and donations.

Autoputevi Republike Srpska distributed 1 million KM in donations, with reports indicating recipients included associations linked to the ruling SNSD party. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued a 23 million KM tender for 90 stationary radars, though potential bidders have raised concerns regarding the fairness of the tender conditions.

Other major financial activities include Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske launching a 187 million KM tender for the Hrgud wind farm in Berkovićima, a project pending for nearly 11 years. Additionally, the company Lanaco secured a 6.4 million KM contract to develop a petroleum derivative monitoring system and a fuel price tracking application.
