Republika Srpska Ministry of Education and Culture announces cultural funding results

The Ministry of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska has announced the results of several public contests aimed at supporting cultural projects and the acquisition of fine art works.

A total of 624,200 KM has been allocated across nine public contests. This includes 574,200 KM distributed through eight specific programs covering areas such as music, theater, visual and multimedia arts, cultural heritage promotion, literary events, folk dance and song ensembles, and publishing activities. Additionally, funds were allocated for the cultural creation projects of national minorities.

One specific contest for the acquisition of fine art works resulted in the purchase of works from 24 artists for 11 cultural institutions, totaling 83,600 KM. This initiative focused on decentralizing culture by supporting institutions in smaller local communities, assisting artists significant to their local areas, and providing support to the younger generation of artists.
