Republika Srpska seeks expanded scientific ties with Russian Academy

Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, announced in Moscow that the Russian Academy of Sciences has expressed interest in expanding scientific cooperation with the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republika Srpska (ANURS).

During a meeting with representatives of the Russian Academy, including President Gennady Krasnikov, the Republika Srpska delegation—which included Prime Minister Savo Minić—discussed intensifying collaboration in various fields, with a particular focus on medical research and knowledge exchange. Dodik stated that the administration would support the intensification of this existing cooperation to serve the interests of the people.

Dodik also noted that the Russian Academy of Sciences will be presented with an award for its past cooperation, to be presented on January 9, the Day of Republika Srpska. The delegation is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss future plans and analyze previous agreements.
