Republika Srpska shifts policy to defend Dayton Agreement

Ana Trišić Babić, Director of the Office for International Cooperation of Republika Srpska, stated that the entity has shifted its political approach in response to perceived attempts to undermine the Dayton Peace Agreement. She noted that over the last three to four years, the entity has felt targeted by efforts to nullify its status and autonomy.

Trišić Babić claimed that the leadership has actively promoted the stability of Republika Srpska within the framework of the Dayton Agreement. She suggested that these efforts have been recognized by the United States, noting a change in American policy toward the region and the Serbian people living there.
