Republika Srpska showcases cultural production at Belgrade Book Fair

Republika Srpska has officially opened its presentation at the 69th International Belgrade Book Fair. Under the slogan “Exist. Carry Identity,” the exhibition commemorates the 65th anniversary of Ivo Andrić receiving the Nobel Prize in Literature.

The program includes 38 scheduled events, featuring literary, scientific, and cultural works. Key participants include the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republika Srpska, which is presenting the seventh volume of the Encyclopedia of Republika Srpska, and the University of Banja Luka, marking its 50th anniversary. Other contributors include the University of East Sarajevo, the Prijedor City Library, and various research centers.

Promotions include historical and scientific publications, such as monographs on the Donja Gradina memorial area and works regarding the history of the Republika Srpska Army. The exhibition is hosted at the fair's Hall 2 and within the “Borislav Pekić” and “Ivo Andrić” halls.
