Republika Srpska to issue September pensions ahead of schedule

September pensions in Republika Srpska will be paid out earlier than usual, ahead of upcoming elections. Milorad Dodik, leader of the SNSD, announced that regular payments for salaries, pensions, and veteran benefits will be processed ahead of schedule.

Ratko Trifunović, president of the Association of Retirees of Republika Srpska, welcomed the news, noting that while pensions typically arrive around the 7th or 8th of the month, an earlier disbursement in early October would be beneficial. Historically, pension payments in the region have been made by the 10th of each month.

Following August adjustments, the lowest pension for up to 15 years of service stands at 361 KM, while the average pension is 724 KM. Approximately 102,300 retirees receive pensions at or below the average rate.
