Requião Filho proposes tax cuts and healthcare reforms in Paraná
PDT candidate Requião Filho has introduced several key proposals as part of his 2026 campaign for the governorship of Paraná. His economic agenda includes reducing the ICMS (Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services) for micro and small enterprises to stimulate job creation and wage increases. Additionally, he aims to restore state control over the Companhia Paranaense de Energia (Copel) to negotiate lower electricity tariffs for consumers and businesses.
In the healthcare sector, Requião Filho proposes implementing a single, digitalized queue for the Unified Health System (SUS) to manage consultations, exams, and surgeries. This system would prioritize patients based on clinical urgency and allow individuals to track their status and expected service dates via mobile devices to increase transparency. His broader healthcare plan, ‘O Paraná que Cuida’, also emphasizes regionalization and specialized medical access through the ‘Mais Especialidades’ program.
