Requião Filho proposes tax exemptions for small businesses in Paraná

Paraná gubernatorial candidate Requião Filho (PDT) has proposed a series of economic and social measures aimed at stimulating the state's economy and improving public services. A central pillar of his platform is the proposal to eliminate ICMS taxes for micro and small enterprises until 2033, coinciding with the full implementation of the national tax reform. Requião Filho stated that since seven out of ten jobs in Paraná are provided by these businesses, the measure is intended to guarantee employment and economic movement.

In the agricultural sector, the candidate plans to expand technical assistance for small producers through IDR Paraná, increase rural credit, and improve rural electricity access. To support municipal management, he proposes the creation of a State Project Bank to assist cities in securing state and federal funding.

Regarding public health, the candidate's plan includes the implementation of a single queue (fila única) within the Unified Health System (SUS) to manage consultations, exams, and surgeries, alongside the regionalization of health services.
