Research and healthcare initiatives receive funding in Italy

The Fondazione della Cassa di risparmio di Fossano has donated new technological equipment to the Human Assisted Reproduction Center in Fossano. This investment aims to bolster the facility, which is the only public center of its kind in the province of Cuneo, to combat declining birth rates and improve gynecological services.

In Parma, the Associazione Chiara Tassoni ODV has allocated 30,000 euros to support two research projects at the University of Parma. These projects focus on oncological-hematological pathologies. One project, PROGENOMELED, utilizes a proteogenomic approach to study extranodal lymphoma, while the SCREEMIR project aims to develop an innovative diagnostic system for acute myeloid leukemias using electrochemical biosensors to detect microRNA.
