Reservation Hatao Andolan claims government will hold talks on reservation reform

The Reservation Hatao Andolan (RHA), an Instagram-based movement with approximately 5.6 million followers, claims the Indian Union government has agreed to discuss its demands regarding the caste-based reservation system. The group stated that a Union minister will “personally” hold talks with activists to address reservation reform.

The announcement follows a large-scale protest on Friday at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Although the Delhi Police stated that no permission had been granted for the assembly at that specific location and detained several protesters, the movement continues to mobilize. RHA has suggested that certain influencers, including Ajeet Bharti, Neha Laldas, and Anand Ranganathan, should be included in the discussions to present arguments and data.

While the group expressed hope regarding the proposed government discussions, they emphasized that the movement is not over and will continue its agitation.
