Resham Dhaba in Murthal introduces robot waiters

Resham Dhaba, a well-known eatery in Murthal, Haryana, has introduced robotic waiters to serve food to customers. Developed in collaboration with a technology team from Bengaluru, these smart robots use a navigation system and software to follow pre-set routes to deliver orders directly to tables.

The robots feature a fiber-built exterior with red LED lights and can operate for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours on a single charge. While a dedicated team monitors the machines and uses remote controls for intervention when necessary, the service is provided to customers at no additional cost.

The introduction of this technology has become a major attraction for diners, particularly children, who frequently take videos and selfies with the robots. This move represents an integration of modern robotics into the traditional roadside dhaba culture of the Delhi-Chandigarh highway.
