Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake Leads June 2026 Game Announcements at Summer Game Fest

The Summer Game Fest 2026 showcased a slate of upcoming video game releases. Capcom announced a remake of Resident Evil Code Veronica, now titled Resident Evil Veronica, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. Creative Assembly released the first teaser for Alien Isolation 2, a survival‑horror title slated for the same platforms. Square Enix confirmed the final installment of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, targeting spring 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2. genATLAS by GenDesign received a brief preview, and ArenaNet unveiled Guild Wars 3 with a beta planned for autumn 2027 on PC and PlayStation 5.

Separately, a retro shooter, Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered, was offered on the PlayStation Store for €11.59 until 11 June, representing a 60 % discount from its regular price. The game, originally released in 2000 and recently remastered by Nightdive Studios, is available for PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
