Resident Evil film releases Japan-exclusive trailer

To celebrate "Bio Day" on August 10, a special Japan-exclusive trailer has been released for the new Resident Evil (Biohazard) film. Distributed by Sony Pictures, the movie is scheduled for a Japanese theatrical release on October 9.

Directed by Zack Cregger, the film follows Brian (Austin Abrams), a medical courier who accepts a delivery marked "Handle with Care" destined for Raccoon City General Hospital. The trailer depicts Brian encountering supernatural horrors on a snowy road, including a bloodied woman and mysterious entities emerging from corpses. The footage features previously unseen clips and emphasizes a fast-paced, attraction-like horror experience.
