Resident Evil Requiem Remake Scheduled for 2027 Release

Capcom announced that a modernized remake of the classic survival‑horror title Resident Evil: Code Veronica will launch under the name Resident Evil Requiem in 2027. The new version will retain the original’s atmosphere while introducing upgraded graphics, contemporary gameplay mechanics and expanded story elements.

Remedy is also set to release the next installment of its action‑thriller series Control in September, promising a larger scope and heightened visual style compared with the original game. Both announcements highlight ongoing investment in reviving and extending established video‑game franchises for new audiences.
