Resident Evil Requiem DLC to focus on Oswell Spencer's story

Haris Orkin, a writer for Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem, has revealed details regarding the game's upcoming story DLC. During an interview at the Meadowlark Comic Con, Orkin indicated that the expansion will focus on deepening the narrative arc of Oswell E. Spencer, the co-founder of the Umbrella Corporation.

While Spencer is a central figure in the main game, the DLC is expected to provide even more insight into his character and history. In the base game, the narrative explores a more nuanced version of Spencer, portraying him with a sense of regret regarding his role in the creation of the T-Virus. The expansion aims to expand upon this character study further.

Capcom has previously confirmed that a story expansion is in development, though official details regarding the release date, specific plot points, or playable characters have not yet been released. Orkin noted that he is currently working on the DLC in close collaboration with the company.
