Residential fires in Silla and Pamplona cause multiple injuries
Two separate residential fires in Spain have resulted in multiple injuries due to smoke inhalation and anxiety.
In Silla, Valencia, a fire broke out in a third-floor apartment of an eight-story building early Saturday morning. Sixteen people, including two minors, an elderly person, and two firefighters, were affected by smoke and anxiety. Two men, aged 52 and 69, were transported to the Hospital de La Fe in Valencia for medical evaluation.
In Pamplona, a kitchen fire in a third-floor apartment on Paseo García de Nájera led to the hospitalization of two women, aged 76 and 78. Both were treated for smoke inhalation and taken to the Hospital Universitario de Navarra with reserved prognoses. Emergency services, including firefighters and medical teams, responded to the scene to control the blaze and ventilate the building.
