Residents Demand Urgent Cleanup of Via Butera in Catanzaro, Italy

Residents of Via Butera in Catanzaro say the street has become a "dump" with broken sidewalks, uncovered sewer manholes, overflowing trash, rats and overgrown grass, creating safety and health hazards. Former councilor Andrea Critelli and local citizens are urging the municipal government and the regional agency ATERP to carry out an immediate extraordinary cleanup, repair the infrastructure and install video surveillance to deter further neglect.

In Viterbo, drivers and construction workers have been complaining for over four months about the chaotic traffic conditions on the Teverina road works. Local users describe the situation as a “folly” that endangers both motorists and laborers, and call for faster resolution of the prolonged roadworks.
